Outdoor Pursuits

Walking, Riding and Hiking are popular activities on the Quantocks and in Exmoor National park. Both can be reached by bike or foot from Helwell Bay Caravan Park. Go climbing in South Molten’s indoor climbing centre.

Children’s Activities

From day trips to Butlins, to days on the beach, fossil hunting in Helwell Bay, pony trekking. For wet weather try Tropiquaria with its large indoor play castle and collection of exotic animals. Go climbing in South Molten’s indoor climbing centre.

Local Attractions

There are plenty of tourism attractions across Exmoor. Get close to nature at Troiquaria, Exmoor Zoo or Exmoor Falconry.

History & Heritage

From Dunster Castle to Hestercombe Gardens there are lots of heritage gardens, National Trust properties and villages around. Visit Selworthy, Dunster or the ancient bridge at Tarr Steps. Walks in the Holnicote estate or simply enjoy a cream tea in beautiful surrounds.
